Yep, I have a .035" decked and mildly ported (******* quality) zetec head, I have the new valves and springs, got my valve job and pressure test quotes and am gonna do that in a few weeks. got the short block, and a bunch of other misc stuff. the port job on my head will net ZERO gains as is. the
The OEM brand is generally best meaning run Champions in the Mopars and Motorcraft in the Fords. You pretty much need double plats because of the waste spark units that Ford runs for coils there, at least for the longer haul. Two of the coils fire backwards. Double Iridiums would be great but haven't heard of those yet.
